About Blue Galaxy Designs

The idea for Blue Galaxy Designs began with a personal fascination for space exploration. I started by recreating detailed blueprint-style illustrations of historic spacecraft and missions — from the Space Shuttle and Soyuz capsule to the Apollo missions, the N1-L3 program, Mars and lunar rovers, and probes such as Voyager or Cassini–Huygens, one of my all-time favorite exploratory missions of the outer planets.

Besides technical designs, I also enjoy working on more creative illustrations, such as vintage and pop-art pieces — especially retro Soviet-style space propaganda, commemorative space badges and posters inspired by science-fiction novels and movies. They’re so fun to make! Today, my collection also includes aircraft, ships, tanks, architectural landmarks, race tracks and even baseball fields.

Each design involves research and a great deal of work. Most illustrations are developed through careful study of original diagrams, press materials and detailed 3D references. Every piece is drawn and designed manually by me, and none of my artwork is generated using artificial intelligence.
